If you are part of the more than 60 countries eligible to apply for ETIAS travel authorization, the entry procedure to Germany will be effortless to manage.

You will get a response to know whether or not you are eligible after filling out the online form to process ETIAS, a mandatory requirement to travel to any country in Europe from 2021.

If you do not belong to the ETIAS countries or the reason for your trip is different, you should consult the requirements of the additional visas to travel to Germany depending on your country of origin.

How long can I stay in Germany with ETIAS

Starting in 2021, the ETIAS visa for Germany will be a reality. Citizens of the more than 60 eligible countries will need to apply for this travel authorization to move freely through German territory.

At this time, the visa bearer for Germany may carry out only activities related to tourism or business, but not others such as working or residing in the country permanently. If you wish to extend your stay of 90 days in Germany, please refer to the ETIAS authorization renewal conditions.
